12/12/2025, 11:03The Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, held a meeting with the Japanese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Hirano Ryuiti. Minister Sydykov welcomed Mr. Hirano and congratulated him on his appointment as ambassador, highlighting Japan as a key partner of Kyrgyzstan with established friendly and trusting relations.
The parties discussed the current state of trade and economic collaboration, emphasizing the importance of measures to create favorable conditions for investors and business circles, including the development of the legal framework for economic interactions and the formation of a bilateral cooperation mechanism.
Additionally, they reviewed the implementation of the “One Village — One Product” project, managed by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce with support from JICA, as well as future directions for its development and integration.
