06/04/2025, 09:40Representatives of civil society can participate in public procurement commissions if they wish. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Finance Ulukbek Ibraimov at the forum “Public Procurement: From Complex to Simple Solutions.”
He emphasized that procurement today is not just a technical procedure, but a powerful tool of state policy through which tasks such as supporting domestic producers, developing regions, improving the quality of services, and introducing sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions are solved.
According to Ulugbek Ibraimov, a set of reforms is being implemented in the country: electronic procedures have been introduced, barriers are being removed, and bank support for contracts is in place.
"We have analyzed the legislation and, based on the results, have developed a draft new law on procurement with an emphasis on simplification, transparency, and support for ‘green’ solutions.
