According to the bank’s analysts, these technologies will create new jobs, though these will primarily be for highly qualified specialists.
In this regard, experts note that to prevent rising unemployment, the Union’s member states must focus on developing education.
In other words, retraining schemes need to be developed, and education must be improved to prepare the workforce for new technologies.
Already today, one in three employers believes that the curriculum in vocational education institutions lags behind the needs of the modern labour market.
