11/24/2025, 18:20In January–September 2025, 1 billion 447 million voluntary insurance contracts were concluded in Kyrgyzstan for a total amount of 1.31 billion KGS.
Most of the voluntary insurance is property insurance — 44,500 contracts worth 646.2 million KGS, most of which covers the property of citizens and economic entities, as well as motor vehicles and buildings.
The second largest category is personal insurance, with 1.39 million contracts worth 216.7 million KGS, including accident, health, medical and travel insurance.
Liability insurance accounted for 11,400 contracts worth 446.6 million KGS, including motor vehicle owners and citizens, while other types of voluntary insurance accounted for a minimal share — only 1,370 contracts worth 200,000 KGS.
