08/13/2026, 15:42Since the start of 2026, the highest rise in consumer prices in Kyrgyzstan has been recorded in the Osh Region. Compared with December last year, the consumer price index here stood at 112.5 per cent, which equates to an inflation rate of 12.5 per cent.
Next comes the Issyk-Kul Region, where prices rose by 9.6 per cent. In the Jalal-Abad and Naryn Regions, inflation stood at 5.7 per cent and 5.5 per cent respectively; in the Chui Region and Bishkek, it was 5.1 per cent in both; in Osh, it was 4.8 per cent; in the Talas Region – 4.1 per cent, whilst the lowest price rise was recorded in the Batken Region – 3.5 per cent.
The most significant rise in the cost of services since the start of the year was also recorded in the Osh region – 21.8 per cent. In the Issyk-Kul region, services rose in price by 16.6 per cent, and in the Jalal-Abad region by 11.9 per cent, whilst the smallest increase was recorded in the Talas region – 2.6 per cent.
