08/13/2026, 16:25By the end of 2025, production of a number of key agricultural products had increased in Kyrgyzstan. The most significant growth over the year was recorded in the production of vegetables, meat, milk and eggs.
Vegetable production rose from 1.23 million tonnes in 2024 to 1.37 million tonnes in 2025, an increase of 11.3 per cent. Meat production (in carcass weight) increased by 3.6 per cent to 268,600 tonnes, whilst raw milk production rose by 3.2 per cent to 1.88 million tonnes. Egg production grew by 18.7 per cent to 938.4 million eggs.
At the same time, grain production fell by 14.2 per cent – from 2.09 million to 1.79 million tonnes. Potato output fell by 1.7 per cent to 1.17 million tonnes, whilst sugar beet output fell by 43.7 per cent to 539,000 tonnes. Raw cotton production fell by almost half – from 46,300 to 23,500 tonnes – whilst tobacco production fell from 1,000 to 500 tonnes. Wool production remained virtually unchanged at 13,200 tonnes.
