Inflation in Kyrgyzstan will begin to decline gradually after accelerating in 2025. This forecast is contained in the Eurasian Development Bank's macroeconomic forecast for 2026-2028.
According to the baseline scenario, inflation in the country could reach 9.1% by the end of 2025. This is significantly higher than the 2024 figure, when growth was 6.3%.
However, starting in 2026, EDB analysts expect inflationary pressures to ease. Inflation is forecast to be 8.3% in 2026, 7.4% in 2027, and may fall to 6.2% by 2028.
