Inflation in Kyrgyzstan is forecast to be below 7% by 2028

The Eurasian Development Bank has forecast a decline in inflation in Kyrgyzstan in 2026-2028. The data is published in the EDB's macroeconomic forecast.

Inflation in Kyrgyzstan will begin to decline gradually after accelerating in 2025. This forecast is contained in the Eurasian Development Bank's macroeconomic forecast for 2026-2028.

According to the baseline scenario, inflation in the country could reach 9.1% by the end of 2025. This is significantly higher than the 2024 figure, when growth was 6.3%.

However, starting in 2026, EDB analysts expect inflationary pressures to ease. Inflation is forecast to be 8.3% in 2026, 7.4% in 2027, and may fall to 6.2% by 2028.
