09/19/2024, 09:27From September 9 to September 13, the total volume of trades at the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange amounted to 24.44 mln KGS, which is 92% lower compared to the previous week, when shares of the OJSC “Kyrgyzindustria” were being floated.
However, the number of deals in corporate securities increased to 51 compared to 43 deals during September 2-6. The main factor that contributed to this growth was the issue of the fourth emission of shares of the OJSC “Manas International Airport”, which amounted to 93.5% of the total volume of trades.
On the primary market, 17 deals were registered in common shares of the OJSC “Manas International Airport” with a total volume of KGS 21.68 mln, at an offering price of KGS 424.066 per share.
The total volume of deals in corporate bonds amounted to KGS 1.66 mln. The OJSC “Bakai Bank” bonds had the largest floatation, totalling KGS 1 million. Bonds of the OJSC MFC “InvesCor SA” and OJSC MFC “ABN” were placed for KGS 150,000 and KGS 520,000, respectively.
It should be noted that the MFC “ABN” office was sealed by the officers of the State Committee for National Security. The company is suspected of granting loans at a rate over 33%, which violates the law on usury activity, and in evasion from mandatory payments.
On the secondary market, 23 deals worth 2.1 mln KGS were registered. Only common shares of companies were traded. The largest volume was recorded in transactions with the OJSC “Manas International Airport” shares, which amounted to 1.96 million KGS. Deals in shares of the OJSC “Commercial Bank of Kyrgyzstan” and OJSC “Kyrgyzneftegaz” were held in smaller volumes.
