The Cabinet of Ministers donated equipment worth 3 million KGS to a boarding school for the blind

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan donated 10 Perkins Brailler Classic typewriters to a special boarding school for blind and visually impaired children in Bishkek. The machines will help improve Braille education and develop students' independent work skills.

Adylbek Kasymaliyev personally delivered the equipment to the educational institution. It should be noted that the need for typewriters was voiced by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers himself during a visit to the school in September last year.

More than 3 million KGS were allocated from the reserve fund of the Prime Minister to purchase 20 units of equipment. At the moment, 10 typewriters have been delivered to a boarding school in Bishkek, and another 10 will be transferred to a special boarding school for blind and visually impaired children in the city of Osh.

Perkins Brailler Classic machines are an important tool in the organisation of the educational process. They enable systematic teaching of Braille writing, develop fine motor skills and concentration, facilitate the work of teachers and improve the quality of education.
