Which products in Kyrgyzstan have become cheaper despite inflation?

In December 2025, consumer prices in Kyrgyzstan rose by 1% compared to November, and by December 2024, inflation stood at 9.4%. The main increase was in food products.

The sharpest price increases were for chicken meat (4.6%), dairy products and eggs (4.3% (milk +7%, eggs +7.3%)), fish (+3.3%) and long-grain rice (+3.2%). Coffee, sunflower oil, bread and cereals also rose in price.

At the same time, prices for a number of goods fell: mineral water (-2.1%), medium-grain rice (-1.1%), beef (-0.6%), cottonseed oil (-0.4%) and sugar (-0.1%). Thus, the price increase was selective — some products became significantly more expensive, while others remained cheaper.
