07/23/2026, 18:00Inspectors from the Chui Regional Directorate of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service under the Ministry of Natural Resources identified breaches in the operations of the ‘Kant-Tazalyk’ municipal enterprise and the Kant City Council.
During a routine inspection of the enterprise’s vehicle fleet, it was established that the requirements of legislation on air quality protection had been breached. As a result, ‘Kant-Tazalyk’ was fined 46,000 KGS.
Furthermore, following complaints from local residents, inspectors carried out an on-site inspection regarding the storage of waste on 50 Years of the October Revolution Street.
A report was drawn up regarding this incident against the municipal enterprise and Kant City Council, and a fine of 17,000 KGS was imposed.
The total amount of fines amounted to 63,000 KGS. Kant City Council has now organised the clean-up of the area in question, to be carried out by the municipal enterprise ‘Kant-Tazalyk’.
