Each litre of diesel fuel costs the authorities almost 42.27 KGS

In Kyrgyzstan, the state subsidises the supply of fuels and lubricants to ensure a stable supply to the domestic market. This was revealed at a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev, on 28 September.

The subsidy for AI-92 petrol ranges from 17.16 to 30.88 KGS per litre, depending on the terms of the contracts. For diesel fuel, the subsidy ranges from 13.06 to 42.27 KGS per litre, and for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) — from 46 tyiyin to 1.40 KGS.

The meeting also discussed the availability and stocks of petroleum products, supply volumes and pricing policy. As a result, the relevant government bodies were instructed to ensure stable supplies of fuel and lubricants, to strengthen control over supply volumes and stocks, and to take measures to prevent shortages.
