Launched in 2019, the enterprise processes up to 60 tonnes of wool per year and produces felt products for yurts, shirdaks and custom-made items. Construction is underway on an additional production line, which will create a further 7–8 jobs.
During his visit, Erlist Akunbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, familiarised himself with the production process, discussed measures to support the sector and opportunities for expanding production, including export potential.
