ADR establishes uniform rules and requirements for the transport of dangerous goods by specialized motor vehicles on roads, thereby improving safety and reducing risks during the transport of such goods.
As part of the implementation of the agreement, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision, and the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic have been designated as the authorized state bodies.
Joining the ADR will enable Kyrgyzstan to bring its national legislation into line with international standards and improve road safety during the transport of dangerous goods.
