Kyrgyz honey gains access to the European Union market

The European Commission has endorsed a plan to export Kyrgyz honey and added it to a special list of technical regulations of the European Commission allowing imports into the EU.

This confirms that Kyrgyzstan's national control and certification system meets EU requirements.

This decision by the European Commission will help expand the market for Kyrgyz honey producers and increase the competitiveness of domestic products in international markets.
Previous efforts to introduce Kyrgyz honey to the European market were unsuccessful due to the European Union's strict certification requirements.

The Ministry will continue its work to expand the list of domestic products that have access to the European Union market.
