Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia to develop joint film projects

A meeting was held at the Department of Cinematography with Damchig Tegshjargal, Mongolia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kyrgyz Republic, and Orgilmaa Bat-Erdene, Head of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation at the National Council for Cinematography of Mongolia.

During the meeting, issues regarding the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the field of cinema were discussed. The parties exchanged views on the implementation of joint film projects, increasing the participation of filmmakers in international film festivals, and the development of professional ties.

Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Department of Cinematography and the National Council for Cinematography of Mongolia. The document will facilitate the development of long-term and systematic cooperation in the field of cinema, the exchange of experience, and the implementation of new creative initiatives.
