Among the most important is an agreement to issue $300 million in five-year bonds, which will not be secured, with the participation of the state-owned Ayil Bank.
According to the US State Department, the financial company Oppenheimer & Co. will act as the underwriter for the issuance of these bonds, which means that Ayil Bank will gain access to the international debt market, while the US side will expand the position of its financial institutions in Central Asia.
