Within the framework of the IV Turkic Business Agro-forum held on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyz Agroholding OJSC and Hungarian Umwelt Group signed a Framework Agreement on five-year investment cooperation. The amount of the agreement amounted to $100 million.

According to the document, the parties plan to implement a number of joint projects in the agro-industrial complex of Kyrgyzstan. In particular, it is about modernization of poultry farming, development of breeding cattle breeding and introduction of modern agricultural technologies.

As part of the visit, the Umwelt Group delegation visited a number of facilities in Chui Oblast: a poultry farm in Ysyk-Ata district and a breeding farm “Elita” in Alamudun district, where they familiarized themselves with the current state of infrastructure.

The signing of the agreement was an important step in strengthening international cooperation and attracting foreign direct investment in agriculture.
