Kyrgyzstan and Japan expand cooperation in organised employment and social initiatives

Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration Ravshanbek Sabirov held a meeting with a Japanese delegation led by IM Japan President Hitoshi Kanamori.

The main topic of discussion was the expansion of cooperation in the field of organised employment of our country's citizens in Japan. During the meeting, the Kyrgyz side expressed its readiness to provide training for qualified personnel who meet the requirements of the Japanese labour market.

Particular attention is being paid to areas in demand in Japan, such as IT, services, social services, and skilled trades, including welders.

The parties emphasised the importance of comprehensive training, both professional and linguistic, for future labour migrants.

«We attach great importance to protecting the labour rights of our citizens abroad. It is important that Kyrgyz specialists not only get jobs, but also have access to insurance, legal support and stable channels of communication with government agencies», — said Ravshanbek Sabirov.

This cooperation is aimed at creating a transparent and effective labour migration system that will contribute to the development of both countries and provide Kyrgyz citizens with new opportunities for professional growth and improved quality of life. The parties expressed confidence that joint initiatives will become a solid foundation for a mutually beneficial partnership.
