05/06/2026, 15:07In January–February 2026, Kyrgyzstan saw a decline in exports of dried fruit and mixed nuts in terms of both volume and revenue.
Total exports for this product group amounted to 1,519.5 tonnes worth $2.24 million, which is significantly lower than last year’s figure of $7.45 million. Thus, the decline in value terms exceeded 70%.
The main export market is Russia. Products worth $1.48 million were supplied there, though this is significantly less than last year’s level. The second major destination was Uzbekistan — $213,900 — where a decline was also recorded compared with the previous period.
The situation in European and long-haul markets is mixed. Exports to Germany rose to $435,700, compared with $348,800 a year earlier. Shipments to Turkey also increased — to $40,800 — and to Ukraine — to $16,400.
At the same time, some destinations have virtually dropped out of the export structure: shipments to Bulgaria, Tajikistan and a number of other countries either fell sharply or ceased altogether.
