Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev spoke at the Asian Financial Forum in Hong Kong. In his report, he noted the achievements of the Kyrgyz economy: in 2021-2023, the average annual growth rate was 9%, GDP doubled and the budget tripled. These results, according to Kasymaliev, allow the country to enter a stage of accelerated development with ambitious reforms inspired by the successes of the Asian “tigers”.

Key areas presented in the report include modernization of the financial sector, digitalization of governance, development of education and science, and partnerships with the private sector. It emphasized work to attract companies to list stocks and bonds on the national stock exchange, as well as the possibility of cooperation with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Among the initiatives highlighted are the development of “green bonds” and the introduction of the digital KGS.

Kasymaliev highlighted the advantages of Kyrgyzstan's investment climate, including tax incentives, investment protection and favorable location on the Silk Road. He emphasized the potential of projects in agriculture, organic processing and transportation infrastructure, including the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railroad. He concluded his speech by expressing Kyrgyzstan's readiness to become a reliable partner for foreign investors.
