01/28/2026, 16:13Major infrastructure and energy projects by Chinese company Shaanxi Taifaxian Industrial Group Co., Ltd. were presented in Kyrgyzstan against the backdrop of the entry into force of a new investment law. This was discussed at a meeting between Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and representatives of the Chinese delegation.
Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasised that the new investment law is aimed at creating a transparent and secure investment climate and guarantees state protection of invested funds. According to him, Kyrgyzstan is open to both direct foreign investment and the implementation of projects in the format of public-private partnerships.
During the meeting, priority projects were presented to investors, including the construction of the Chatkal and Upper Naryn hydroelectric power plant cascades, the Topurak-Bel wind farm, the Ala-Too Resort tourist complex, the At-Bashi international trade and logistics centre, the Turksib-Balykchy railway section, and the Asman City project.
The Chinese side expressed interest in participating in infrastructure and development projects, including through PPP mechanisms and direct investment. Possible formats for cooperation in construction, energy and urban infrastructure were discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue and move on to detailed consideration of specific areas of cooperation.
Shaanxi Taifaxian Industrial Group was founded in 1983 and is one of the top 50 companies in China in the real estate and energy sectors. The group implements projects in construction, energy and investment and development activities in a number of regions in China.
