Kyrgyz citizens in Russia were assisted in recovering over 23 million roubles in unpaid wages

The representative office of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan in Russia continues to assist Kyrgyz citizens in protecting their labour rights.

From January to August, with its assistance, 273 citizens of Kyrgyzstan received unpaid wages totalling 23.4 million roubles. In addition, seven people recovered compensation from employers for industrial injuries amounting to 10.7 million roubles.

In total, since the opening of the representative office in November 2022, assistance has been provided to 1,417 labour migrants from Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of debts and compensation recovered exceeded 118 million roubles.
