01/12/2026, 11:52The permanent population of Kyrgyzstan increased by 103,400 people, or 1.4%, in January–October 2025. As of November 1, it reached 7,385,000 people.
At the beginning of last year, the country's population was 7,281,800 people.
The highest absolute population growth was recorded in the capital. The population of Bishkek grew by 31,700 people over ten months, reaching 1,353,600. This corresponds to an increase of 2.4%, which is the highest rate among all regions of the country.
The city of Osh ranks second in terms of growth rate, with its population increasing by 10,700 (+2.3%) to 484,200.
