During the reporting period, the volume of such loans increased by 65.7% to reach 241.8 billion KGS.
Loans with a maturity of between one and three years rose by 41.1% to 191.2 billion KGS. The volume of loans with a maturity of up to one year increased by 23.5%, amounting to 65.3 billion KGS.
The growth in the share of long-term lending has led to an increase in the average loan maturity (duration). Whereas it previously stood at 32 months, it has now risen to 33.6 months.
The data suggests that borrowers are increasingly opting for loans with longer repayment terms, which reduces their monthly debt burden but extends the overall loan repayment period.
