08/31/2026, 11:44China is ready to strengthen cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, coordinate development strategies and expand the exchange of expertise in public administration. This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping during a meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek.
According to the Chinese leader, relations between the two countries have made significant progress in recent years, and cooperation is actively developing across all areas. He made special mention of the construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway.
“A large number of projects, including the construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, are progressing steadily,” said the President of the People’s Republic of China.
Xi Jinping emphasised that joint projects contribute to the development of both countries, benefit the population and strengthen stability in the region.
The Chinese leader also noted that Kyrgyzstan is focusing its efforts on achieving its development goals for 2030. Against this backdrop, Beijing is ready to deepen cooperation so that it yields more tangible results for citizens.
The President of the People’s Republic of China stated that he had visited Kyrgyzstan again after seven years and had observed significant changes in the country.
“I have personally witnessed how rapidly your country is changing and developing, and have seen impressive achievements in its development,” said Xi Jinping.
In conclusion, the Chinese leader congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on Independence Day on behalf of the Government and people of China, wishing the country prosperity and peace, and its people well-being.
