Chinese company to reconstruct Bishkek Bypass Road

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has selected China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) as the general contractor for the reconstruction of two important road sections. These are the northern bypass road of Bishkek on the Almaty - Bishkek - Tashkent highway (230.7-255 km section) and the Bishkek - Balykchy - Naryn - Torugart highway (0-9.1 km section).

According to the decree of the head of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 11 January 2025, the project will be implemented with a combination of design and construction phases, which will speed up the work. Funding will be allocated by the Ministry of Finance from the national budget, while the State Agency of Architecture and Construction will provide expertise and commissioning of the facilities.

The order will come into force in 15 days and will be valid for two years. For convenience, the areas to be repaired are marked on the scheme.
