07/15/2026, 15:47The Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn plans to purchase equipment, materials and furniture for scientific research totalling approximately 230.7 million KGS.
The procurement has been announced as part of the ‘Quality and Innovation in Higher Education’ project under the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The largest single purchase involves the acquisition of mass spectrometers for the KNU Centre for Innovation and Research, at a cost of 130.9 million KGS.
A further 80.3 million KGS is earmarked for equipment for microbiological, molecular genetic and environmental research, including chromatographs, UV spectrophotometers, chemical analysis equipment, a mobile environmental laboratory and laboratory furniture.
In addition, KNU will purchase consumables, reagents, culture media, strains of microorganisms, laboratory glassware and accessories for conducting research. The cost of this procurement amounts to 19.5 million KGS.
Suppliers will be required to deliver the equipment and materials and, for certain lots, to carry out installation, commissioning and technical support. The delivery period is up to 120 days following the conclusion of the contracts.
Applications to participate in the procurement process will be accepted until the end of July 2026.
