The Chon-Kapka checkpoint will be temporarily closed for two hours

On 30 December 2025, from 13:00 to 15:00, the passage of people and vehicles through the Chon-Kapka road checkpoint will be temporarily suspended. The restrictions are related to technical work, according to the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan.

The checkpoint is located in the Talas region on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the state border and is used for road traffic between the two countries.

The Border Service asks citizens to plan their routes in advance and take into account the temporary closure of the checkpoint, choosing other nearby checkpoints to cross the border.
