KR offers Malaysia to invest in hydrogen energy

Within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Malaysia, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Malaysian company CitaGlobal Berhad. The document is aimed at developing partnership in the field of renewable energy.

The Minister of Energy also held a meeting with the management of the oil and gas giant PETRONAS at the company's headquarters in the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in hydrogen energy, development of electric refueling stations and other areas of green transformation.

During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation presented the country's energy potential and investment opportunities, and PETRONAS representatives presented the activities of its subsidiary Gentari, specializing in sustainable energy solutions.

The Kyrgyz side invited the PETRONAS delegation to Bishkek to continue the dialog and more detailed elaboration of joint projects.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and confirmed mutual interest in strengthening strategic partnership in the field of sustainable development.

Kyrgyzstan and Hungary agree to invest $100 mln in the agro-sector
Within the framework of the IV Turkic Business Agro-forum held on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyz Agroholding OJSC and Hungarian Umwelt Group signed a Framework Agreement on five-year investment cooperation. The amount of the agreement amounted to $100 million.
