Taxes on motor vehicle sales abolished for three years in Kyrgyzstan

Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree “On measures to support certain sectors of the economy.” Among other things, the document provides for significant tax breaks on transactions involving motor vehicles.

In particular, individuals and legal entities are exempt from paying taxes on the sale of motor vehicles for three years.

In addition, individuals who are not sole proprietors are exempt from all tax obligations, including penalties and sanctions, on income from the sale of vehicles received before January 1, 2026.

There is also an exemption from sales tax on vehicles and components manufactured or assembled in Kyrgyzstan.

The decree shall enter into force on the date of its official publication.
