04/20/2026, 16:35“Kyrgyzaltyn” signed a memorandum of cooperation with the country’s three largest universities during the “Leadership Strategy in the New Reality” forum, held on April 16. The document provides for the launch of a systematic training program for specialists in the mining sector.
The company’s partners are the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin.
The agreement involves targeted training for students, the organization of internships and practical training at the group’s enterprises, as well as the participation of business representatives in the educational process.
As stated by Kubat Abdraimov, Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzaltyn, the company intends to establish a sustainable model for training personnel, focused on the needs of the industry.
“The development of the mining sector is impossible without high-quality human resources,” he noted.
Kumtor Gold Company, the country’s largest gold mining enterprise, will play a key role in implementing the initiative. The company will serve as the primary venue for practical training of students and the implementation of industry standards.
