Kyrgyz jewellers to be trained by Italian masters

Kyrgyz jewellers will have the opportunity to receive training from leading Italian specialists. This agreement was reached on 20 January 2026 during a working visit by the Chairman of the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan, Almamet Shykmamatov, to the Vicenzaoro international jewellery exhibition in Vicenza.

During the exhibition, the head of the State Tax Service held a series of meetings with representatives of the world's largest players in the jewellery industry. A key meeting was with Eleonora Rizzuto, Director of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility for the Bvlgari Group and LVMH brand. The meeting discussed the current state of the jewellery industry in Kyrgyzstan, ongoing reforms and government support measures, as well as the country's potential in the processing of precious metals and stones.

The result was an agreement to organise training for Kyrgyz jewellers at Bvlgari. This will allow domestic craftsmen to learn modern technologies, design approaches and quality standards from one of the world's most famous brands.

In addition, Almamet Shykmamatov met with Massimo Polero, President of the Association of Jewellery Equipment Manufacturers and Exporters. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation, including the launch of joint projects and the purchase of AFEMO equipment to organise a full cycle of jewellery production in Kyrgyzstan.

Separate negotiations were held with representatives of Trevi Group S.r.l. and Damiani Group. The talks focused on the introduction of Italian technologies, equipment and means of analysis of precious metals, as well as their adaptation for Kyrgyz enterprises and specialised laboratories.

In conclusion, the parties agreed on a visit by Italian manufacturers to Kyrgyzstan to study the market and continue negotiations on joint projects. Vicenzaoro, in turn, reaffirmed its status as one of the world's leading platforms for setting trends in the jewellery industry and establishing strategic partnerships.
