09/03/2025, 17:41During the official visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to China on 1 September 2025, Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev and heads of national companies met with Zhao Yunshen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gansu Yindi LLC.
The parties discussed deepening cooperation in the coal industry and implementing KGS joint projects. Kyrgyz energy companies familiarised themselves with the production capacities of Gansu Yindi LLC, which exceed 1 million tonnes per year, modern coal mining, transportation and enrichment facilities, as well as renewable energy facilities.
Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between OJSC Electric Power Plants, OJSC Kyrgyzkomur and Gansu Yindi LLC. The document established the framework for cooperation in the coal industry. The memorandum was signed by the CEOs of the Kyrgyz companies, Kairat Mamotov and Alpbek Sadyrov, as well as the chairman of the board of directors of Gansu Yindi LLC, Ding Yuping.
