A 1.3-hectare plot of land in Balykchy has been returned to state ownership

A 1.3-hectare plot of land and property complex located in Balykchy, previously owned by Rybachinsky Gosagroprom, has been returned to the state.

The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, as part of the implementation of the state policy on the return of illegally privatised land, conducted an audit of the legality of the privatisation. During the investigation, it was established that the plot with the base and warehouse buildings was illegally transferred to third parties on the basis of a 1992 agreement, which was drawn up without legal grounds.

As a result of the investigative and operational measures, the land plot and property complexes were returned and placed on the balance sheet of the Balykchy City Council.
