Kyrgyzstan and international partners summarized results and outlined plans for trade facilitation

Bishkek hosted a key event for the country's business and trade - the 13th meeting of the Trade Facilitation Council (TFC). This meeting brought together not only government representatives, but also business leaders and international partners such as GIZ and USAID.

The SUPT Secretariat presented a report on the results of the 2019-2024 Plan, noting the successful optimization of procedures aimed at removing administrative barriers. The main emphasis was placed on the digitalization of trade processes and infrastructure improvements, which will further attract investment and grow the country's economy.

However, the key highlight was the presentation of the TMS Plan 2025-2027. Emphasis was placed on initiatives aimed at strengthening logistics connectivity and human capacity development. It is expected that these measures will not only improve Kyrgyzstan's competitiveness, but also strengthen its role in the global trade arena.

Special attention is paid to cooperation within Central Asia, where Kyrgyzstan has already shown itself to be an active player. Presentation of the results of projects, such as Ready4Trade, demonstrated significant progress in strengthening the export potential of the region, as well as promoting integration of CA countries.
