02/20/2026, 09:23Kyrgyzstan has imposed a six-month ban on the export of mineral fertilizers outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The relevant decision was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev.
The restriction applies to exports outside the EAEU and is aimed at regulating the domestic market. However, the ban does not apply to:
State authorities have been instructed to strengthen control and take measures to prevent the illegal export of certain types of mineral fertilizers.
The introduction of such measures is justified in view of the upcoming agricultural work. This is a period when we ourselves will need fertilizers.
