Kyrgyzstan discussed the financing of infrastructure projects with the AIIB

Ruslan Suynaliev, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Finance, took part in the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in Doha on 28–29 September. The meeting focused on the financing of sustainable infrastructure, innovation and international cooperation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of AIIB member countries, finance ministers, international financial organisations and representatives of the global business community.

For Kyrgyzstan, participation in the event is aimed at developing cooperation with the bank and international partners in the implementation of infrastructure and investment projects.

This year’s meeting was held under the theme ‘Infrastructure of the Future: Impact and Innovation’ and coincided with the AIIB’s tenth anniversary.
