Kyrgyzstan presented its investment potential to the business community of Shaanxi Province

On 24 September, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov met with representatives of the business community of Shaanxi Province in the Chinese city of Xi'an. The event was organised by the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan in China.

Employees of the Trade Representation told Chinese entrepreneurs about the investment potential of Kyrgyzstan, noting the attractive conditions for investment and the development of joint projects.

The tourism sector was presented as a separate block. Representatives of the Tourism Development and Support Fund emphasised the prospects for investment in leisure infrastructure and the promotion of new tourist routes.

Eldiyar Doolbekov, Chairman of the Board of the State Financial Holding, presented the holding's activities and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Xi'an Financial Holding. The document will serve as a basis for expanding bilateral cooperation in the financial sector.

During the meeting, a number of memoranda were also signed between Kyrgyz and Chinese companies in the field of trade and tourism. These agreements open up new prospects for strengthening economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Shaanxi Province.
