Legalize yourself: Ministry of Labor urges foreigners to do without intermediaries

The Ministry of Labor reminded that the services of intermediaries are not required when applying for visas, residence permits and registration and may turn out to be fraudulent. All procedures are available directly through official online portals.

Until June 10, 2025 there is a special period without administrative fines for those who have previously violated migration rules - with an expired visa, without documents or who violated the purpose of entry. For legalization it is enough to have a valid passport and use the following services:

• Obtaining a visa: through the Evisa portal (www.evisa.e-gov.kg)
• Obtaining a residence permit: via the link provided on the website of the Ministry of Labor
• Registration: through the portal ereg.e-gov.kg
• Checking status: at any unit of the Ministry of Labor

“We strongly recommend not to postpone registration and apply only to official channels to avoid additional risks and possible problems with the law,” - warned the Ministry of Labor.

Separately, from January 1, 2025, registration of all permits for stay and work in Kyrgyzstan is carried out exclusively through the “Single Window” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Evisa.e-gov.kg.
