08/14/2026, 15:33In January–March 2026, 32 per cent of the reporting enterprises in the real sector of the economy were profitable. The aggregate profit of these enterprises amounted to 124.0 billion KGS.
At the same time, around 20 per cent of enterprises were unprofitable. Their combined losses amounted to 20.1 billion KGS. As a result, the net profit of enterprises in the real sector for the first quarter reached 103.9 billion KGS, compared with 53.2 billion KGS a year earlier, representing an increase of 95.2 per cent.
A positive net financial result was recorded in all regions of the country except for the Batken Region, where enterprises incurred a combined loss of 10.2 million KGS. The largest profits were recorded in Bishkek – 55.3 billion KGS, the Issyk-Kul region – 20.8 billion KGS, and the Chui region – 9.6 billion KGS.
