03/17/2025, 13:18Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev conducted an inspection on capital repairs of roads and improvement of the capital. During the detour, he inspected the bridge over the Alamedin River on Zhibek Jolu Avenue, as well as sections of Shabdan Baatyr Avenue and Street, where reconstruction works are planned.
The Mayor instructed the city services to draw up a schedule of works for the comprehensive renovation of these areas and accelerate the start of construction works.
Particular attention was paid to the repair of the road surface on Auezov Street, where defects in asphalt concrete pavement and kerb blocks were revealed. The mayor warned the contractor that in case of non-compliance with standards, the work will be repeated at his expense under warranty obligations. The issue of accelerating construction works on Bakaeva Street and improvement of adjacent territories was also raised.
In addition, Junushaliyev instructed city departments to inform residents in advance about temporary changes in road traffic and public transport routes. Municipal services have also been tasked with controlling compliance with landscaping norms, including the fight against parking in green areas and illegal advertising.
