08/08/2026, 09:00On Kyrgyzstan’s interbank foreign exchange market, the week from 3 to 6 August 2026 saw no change in exchange rates. The opening and closing rates for all trading days remained at 87.45 KGS to the dollar.
Over the four trading days, the volume of spot transactions amounted to $13.4 million. In the segment of transactions settled on a date other than the trade date, deals totalling $5.4 million were concluded.
The highest level of market activity was recorded on 3 August, with a trading volume of $7.35 million. The lowest trading volume was recorded on 5 August, at $2.5 million.
Despite fluctuations in trading volumes throughout the week, the foreign exchange market remained stable. Given the current levels of trading activity, no significant exchange rate fluctuations are expected in the short term.
