Ministry of Economy develops proposals for the development of the garment industry
On the instructions of President Sadyr Zhaparov, following an extended meeting with representatives of the garment industry at Yntymak Ordo, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, together with relevant agencies, is developing proposals for the development of the garment industry.

The extended meeting was personally chaired by President Sadyr Zhaparov with the participation of entrepreneurs, wool processors, representatives of the Wildberries marketplace, logistics companies, as well as heads of relevant state bodies and agencies.

Opening the meeting, the President emphasised the social importance of the garment industry, which provides employment for the population and is a factor in economic growth, export development and entrepreneurship.

During the meeting, current issues in the industry were discussed in detail, along with proposals for their resolution. Following the meeting, the head of state gave specific instructions to ministries, state agencies and financial institutions to promptly resolve the industry's problems. The implementation of these instructions is under the personal control of the president.

On the same day, on the instructions of the head of state, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce held a working meeting with representatives of the light industry, chaired by Deputy Minister Benazir Nurlanova.

The working meeting examined in detail all the issues and problems raised in the garment industry, which the Ministry has accepted for further study and subsequent joint implementation in close cooperation with industry representatives.
