08/27/2025, 13:59The Ministry of Energy has prepared a draft resolution that will simplify the procedure for connecting small and medium-sized businesses to the electricity grid.
Currently, entrepreneurs must go through a complex procedure to connect new or renovated facilities: project approval, submission of technical documentation, and obtaining a connection order through an authorized state body.
Under the new rules, this function is planned to be transferred directly to licensees in the electric power industry. This means that companies whose networks are connected to new facilities will be able to issue connection orders independently, speeding up the process and reducing bureaucracy.
The innovation applies to facilities with a voltage of up to 1000 V, which is used by most small and medium-sized enterprises. The project aims to support business and simplify procedures without additional budget expenditures.
