An extended meeting chaired by the Minister of Energy, Altynbek Rysbekov, was held to discuss preparations for the country’s energy sector ahead of the 2026/2027 autumn–winter period.

The meeting was attended by the President’s authorised representatives in the regions, heads of regional administrations, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, as well as heads of energy companies and their branches from all regions of the republic.

During the meeting, issues were discussed regarding the preparation of energy facilities for the autumn–winter period, the progress of the maintenance campaign, the readiness of electricity networks, substations, equipment and emergency repair services, as well as measures to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply to consumers.

Energy Minister Altynbek Rysbekov emphasised that timely and high-quality preparation for the autumn–winter period is one of the sector’s key priorities. Following the meeting, he instructed the relevant energy companies to complete all planned maintenance work within the set deadlines, to strengthen oversight of the preparation of energy facilities, to ensure the readiness of operational teams and the necessary stock of materials, and to keep the implementation of all measures in every region of the country under close scrutiny.

The Ministry of Energy is continuing its systematic efforts to ensure thorough preparations for the upcoming 2026/2027 autumn–winter period.
