The building of the Nooken District Electric Networks has been put into operation

As part of a working trip to the Jalal-Abad region, the Minister of Energy took part in the opening of two buildings.

One of them is the building of the Nooken District Electric Networks, which was put into operation after major repairs. Last year, the Minister of Energy instructed the management of the enterprise to carry out a major renovation of the old building and create comfortable conditions for employees.

In accordance with this instruction, the old building of the Nooken District Electric Networks was handed over for renovation in March 2025 and completely transformed into a modern building in 8 months. The building is designed for 130 workplaces.

The major repairs were financed by OJSC ‘NESK’ from its own funds, and the construction work was carried out by OsOO ‘Kok-Tash’ in accordance with the concluded contract.
At the opening ceremony, the Minister of Energy gave a speech, congratulated his colleagues on the modern building and emphasised that creating comfortable conditions for energy workers would ensure stable lighting in every home.

"Creating jobs in modern premises, equipping them with the necessary equipment and specialised technology is the responsibility of management. If energy workers have all the necessary conditions, every home will have a stable supply of heat and light. Over the past five years, we have made every effort to develop and modernise the energy sector, and we will continue to achieve new successes through joint efforts. To do this, we must work responsibly for the people. If the lights stay on and the economy develops, that is our achievement", — the minister said.

The minister then presented energy workers with the keys to special JAG equipment, which will be used to provide the population with uninterrupted power supply and to respond quickly in emergency situations.

In addition, Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev held a meeting with employees of the Jalal-Abad Electric Grids Enterprise. At the meeting, the head of the enterprise presented information on the work completed in 2025 and plans for 2026. The minister resolved some of the issues raised by the employees on the spot, while others were referred to the relevant managers for further action.

According to the information provided, the old building in the Nooken district was built in 1960 and had been in use for 65 years, as a result of which it had fallen into disrepair.
