Almost half of the planned volume consists of seven-year bonds. The Ministry of Finance intends to issue these bonds to the value of 7 billion KGS with a coupon rate of 7 per cent per annum. The auction will take place on 31 July, and the issue will be made on 3 August.
On the same date, an issue of three-year bonds worth 2 billion KGS is scheduled. These carry the highest coupon rate of any of the August issues — 12.86 per cent.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance will offer the market ten-year bonds totalling 2.5 billion KGS at 8 per cent per annum. The first issue, worth 1.5 billion KGS, will take place on 10 August, and the second – worth 1 billion KGS – on 24 August.
A further 2.7 billion KGS is planned to be raised through five-year bonds with a coupon rate of 6 per cent. Issues worth 1.7 billion and 1 billion KGS are scheduled for 17 and 24 August respectively.
Consequently, the largest placement of the month will be the issue of seven-year treasury securities worth 7 billion KGS. This will account for 49.3 per cent of the total volume on offer.
