The National Bank has suspended the licences of four currency exchange bureaux in Bishkek

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has suspended the licences of four currency exchange bureaux for breaching the requirements of legislation and the regulator’s regulatory acts.

The restrictions will be in force from 30 July to 13 August 2026 inclusive.

Temporarily suspended:

• Licence No. 6544 dated 7 July 2023 for ‘Archa Monei’ LLC, located at: Bishkek, 144/7 Abdrakhmanov Street;
• Licence No. 6280 dated 19 April 2022 of ‘Anika Exchange Bureau’ LLC, operating at the following addresses: Bishkek, 73 Moskovskaya Street, Office 1, and 1a/1 Ch. Valikhanov Street, Office 7;
• Licence No. 6296 dated 26 May 2022 issued to Grand Cash LLC, located at: Bishkek, 150 Abdrakhmanov Street;
• Licence No. 6731 dated 5 March 2024 issued to Prestige Money A LLC, located at: Bishkek, 119 Abdrakhmanov Street, Flat 17a.

The National Bank clarified that the decision was based on the exchange bureaux’ failure to comply with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the regulator’s regulatory acts. Details of the identified breaches have not been disclosed.
