08/28/2026, 09:27The Kyrgyz Ministry of Finance plans to issue government treasury bonds totalling 1.85 billion som in September. The bulk of the offering will consist of ten-year bonds, according to the National Bank.
Four auction days and five bond issues are scheduled throughout the month:
Thus, ten-year government bonds will account for 1.5 billion som, or 81.1 per cent of the total volume offered. Their coupon rate will be 8 per cent.
A further 350 million som is planned to be raised through the placement of three-year bonds with a coupon rate of 5 per cent. The largest single issue of the month, worth 650 million som, will be put up for auction on 11 September.
The issue dates for the securities are set for 7, 14, 21 and 28 September respectively.
Government treasury bonds are issued by the Ministry of Finance to raise funds on the domestic market.
